Any Electrical work that requires the installation of a new circuit or changing of a consumer unit, require an Electrical Installation Certificate.
Every 10 years for a homeowner and 5 years for rented property an installation requires a Electrical Installation Condition Report.
For Electrical work that involves working on an existing circuit, a Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate will be produced.
